NEW YORK, NY – Senior Stephanie Kimmel has been named to the Skyline’s All-Conference second team for women’s tennis, as announced yesterday by the conference Commissioner. This is Kimmel’s second time on the All-Conference team; she was part of the first team in 2007.
NEW YORK, NY – Two Yeshiva women’s soccer players have been named to the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference (HVWAC) All-Conference team, as announced by the conference office yesterday. Odelia Rosenberg (left) and Janna Login (right), both senior captains, were the two athletes named to the All-Conference Team.
NEW YORK, NY - Abigail Smolensky, a senior middle blocker for the Maccabees, has been named to the 2009 Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference (HVWAC) All-Conference volleyball team. Going into the season’s final match, the team stands at 3-13 overall, making it to the Conference Quarterfinals last week.
NEW YORK, NY – The women’s volleyball team earned their 3rd win in 6 games by defeating York College 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-22) Monday evening in Jamaica, NY. It is the second road win for the Maccabees, who stand at 3-12 on the season.

NEW YORK, NY – The Yeshiva women’s cross country team placed 6th at the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference Championships held this past Sunday at Purchase College. #Sara Hindin# led the team with a 30th place finish in 28:13 (5k).

NEW YORK, NY – The women’s volleyball team won their second match in less than a week, with their 3-1 win over NY City Tech Thursday night in Brooklyn, NY. After dropping the first game 18-25, Yeshiva rolled through the next three, winning 25-23, 25-13, 25-19. The win moved Yeshiva to 2-10 overall.

NEW YORK, NY – The women’s soccer team hosted the College of Saint Elizabeth Tuesday night, and played to a 0-0 tie after two 10-minute overtime periods. The Maccabees stopped 10 shots in all 110 minutes, while the Eagles of Saint Elizabeth recorded 6 saves. Yeshiva stands at 1-7-1 overall.

NY – The women’s volleyball team captured their first victory of the season with a 3-1 defeat of
Maritime College. The two teams met in the opener of a tri-match including Pratt, which was hosted by the Maccabees at
Hunter College on Sunday. Individual game scores were 25-22 15-25, 25-20, 25-13. At the end of the day, Yeshiva stood at 1-10 overall.
