NEW YORK, NY – The women's volleyball team won their second match in less than a week, with their 3-1 win over NY City Tech Thursday night in Brooklyn, NY. After dropping the first game 18-25, Yeshiva rolled through the next three, winning 25-23, 25-13, 25-19. The win moved Yeshiva to 2-10 overall.
Tzivya Block recorded a team high 20 assists in the game, to go along with her 5 digs and 2 kills. Abigail Smolensky and Jenny Deluty each recorded 9 kills to lead the team. Rena Rotter led with 13 digs.
Up next for the Maccabees is a tri-match against HVWAC conference opponent New Rochelle and Lehman College. The games will be played in New Rochelle beginning at 1:00 p.m.
