NEW YORK, NY – Two Yeshiva women’s soccer players have been named to the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference (HVWAC) All-Conference team, as announced by the conference office yesterday. Odelia Rosenberg (left) and Janna Login (right), both senior captains, were the two athletes named to the All-Conference Team.
Rosenberg started all but one game she played in goal this season, recording 1060 minutes in 13 games played. To date, she has recorded 113 saves, giving her an average of more than 9 per game. She has two shutouts this season, one in a win over Berkeley and the other in a tie with Sarah Lawrence.
Login has started every game she played in this season (11), playing the forward and midfield positions. In the 4-0 win against Berkeley, Janna assisted on the teams’ final goal. She has started the last 21 games she has played in, dating back to the previous season.
The Macs made it to the HVWAC semifinals, but fell to Albany Pharmacy 5-0 in Albany. They have two games remaining this season, tonight at CCNY and the 8th at NYU-Poly.
