Men's Golf Finishes 5th at Purchase Invitational

NEW YORK, NY – The men’s golf team placed fifth at the Purchase Invitational held at Old Oaks Country Club in Purchase, NY. The Maccabees struggled as a team, with only one golfer breaking 100. Farmingdale placed first, with a team score of 322 and the low round of 72.
Adam Silverstein (Beverly Hills, CA/YULA) shot Yeshiva’s lowest round with a 94, followed by Eli Sipzner (West Orange, NJ/Frisch) with a 100, David Berstein (Woodmere, NY/HAFTR) at 110, and Michael Litwack (Toronto, Ca/Or Chaim) with a 114. Their combined score of 418 put them behind Farmingdale, Purchase (372), St. Joseph’s (374), and NYU-Poly (377). Sage College did not have enough players to score as a team.
