Despite Season's Best Performance, Golf Falls to Manhattan

NEW YORK, NY – The men’s golf team put forth their best performance of the season against Manhattan College at the Glenwood Country Club in Old Bridge, NJ, but their score of 340 was outdone by Manhattan’s 292. Sam Ulrich (San Diego, CA/San Diego Jewish Academy) shot Yeshiva’s best score with a 7-over 79, good for fourth overall.
All the Maccabee’s that scored were below 90, with Adam Silverstein (Beverly Hills, CA/YULA) shooting an 85, Jason Kirshner (Chicago, IL/Ida Crown) recording am 87, and Tzvi Simpson (Lawrence, NY/DRS) rounding it out with an 89.
Two Manhattan players shot under par to help the team get the win. Thomas Romano was 6-under and Matthew Baney finished 3-under.
Yeshiva will play again on October 14th against Centenary College. The match will be at 1PM, located at the Panther Valley Golf and Country Club in Hackettstown, NJ.
