Men's Volleyball Sweeps Medgar Evers at Home

Bajtner had 19 assists Tuesday night
NEW YORK, NY – The men’s volleyball team improved to 2-1 on the season with a straight set win over Medgar Evers last night at home, 30-20, 30-20, 30-17. The competition was the first for the visiting Cougars this season, dropping them to 0-1 overall.
David Kahana led the team with 10 points; 6 kills and 4 aces. Zanvy Grauman and Raphael Herskovits each had 7 kills which led all players in the category. Grauman, Herskovits, and Joseph Bajtner each had 8 points for the Maccabees. Jack Voystock finished with 7 points, thanks in part to 4 service aces.
The Macs will have their first road test of the season on Thursday night, as they travel to Lehman College for a 7:30 p.m. game.
