Kempin Nearly Scores Triple Double but Macs Held in Check by Panthers

NEW YORK, NY –
Lauren Kempin came two blocks shy of a triple-double Wednesday evening, but the visiting Panthers from Old Westbury proved too much for the Macs as they won by a final of 90-37. The win put Old Westbury at 11-7 (6-5) and drops Yeshiva to 2-14 (0-11).
Lauren Kempin finished the game with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 blocked shots. Teammate
Shir Fuchs led the scoring attack for the Maccabees with 13 in 39 minutes played.
The Maccabees will look to rebound from the loss with their Sunday afternoon game at Bard College. The game is scheduled for a 2PM tip-off.
