NEW YORK, NY – The men’s volleyball team traveled to Sage College in Albany, NY Sunday afternoon for a Skyline Conference match-up. The Maccabees fell 3-2 with individual game scores of 28-30, 30-27, 30-19, 18-30, 12-15. The loss leaves Yeshiva at 7-5 (2-2) on the season.
Raphael Herskovits led all players with 25.5 points. He killed 20 shots, blocked 4, and had 1 ace.
David Kahana followed with 23 points off 22 kills and an ace.
Joseph Bajtner had 60 assists.
Howard Avner and
Meir Graf had 17 and 14 digs, respectively.
The trip was originally supposed to be a tri-match with Southern Vermont, but injuries in the first game prevented Southern Vermont from competing against Yeshiva. That game will not be rescheduled.
Yeshiva will travel to Purchase College tonight (Monday) for an 8PM Skyline match.
