NEW YORK, NY – Sophomore forward
Rebecca Yoshor has been selected as the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference Player of the Week, as announced by the conference late last night. Although this is the first time she has been named the Player of the Week, she has already twice been named the Rookie of the Week.
Despite two losses this week, Yoshor continued to dominate opponents, averaging 24 points, 14.5 rebounds, and 3 blocks for the week. On the road at Keystone, she had a career high 28 points and 17 rebounds. For the season, she is averaging an amazing 19 points and 13 rebounds, and has recorded a double-double in all but 2 games.
The Macs have one game remaining before the winter break. The team will host Berkeley NY tomorrow, Wednesday, at 8PM. The game is being played at Baruch College.
