NEWARK, N.J.— The Yeshiva University men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their 2013 season at the annual Nick Russo Halloween Classic at Branch Brook Park. Team scores were not recorded.

On the women's side, Stephanie Greenberg was the top finisher for the Maccabees. She completed the five kilometer run third fastest of 44 entries in 20:04. She was followed by Talya Rohde who was fourth overall in 20:35. Sarah Mizrachi finished the course fifth overall in 20:54. Esther Shollar was ninth overall in 23:08, followed by Sarah Lazarus who was eleventh in 23:18. Corrie Mathias was twelfth in 23:43, while Rebecca van Bemmelen finished fourteenth in 23:56. Julianna Wasserman was right behind her in 23:57 to finish fifteenth. Ruthie Heller was sixteenth overall in 24:06, followed by Rena Thomas who was nineteenth in 24:46. Shoshana Mond was twenty-third in 25:55.

For the men, Isaac Markel took first place overall of 36, going five kilometers in 16:59. Yeshiva also claimed the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh place spots in the run. Oliver Sax was second overall in 17:16. Dov Levine was third in 17:17, followed by Joseph Lipton in fourth in 17:37. Noam Polster was fifth overall in 17:42. Natan Koloski was sixth overall in 18:03, ahead of Shvey Mirkin in seventh in 18:40. Avi Raden was ninth overall in 19:17. Shmuel Weinstein was twelfth in 19:43.
