EDGEWATER, N.J. - The Yeshiva University men's tennis team moved its spring-season unbeaten streak to six matches Friday afternoon at Binghamton Racquet Club, as the Macs (6-2) took down visiting Vaughn College by an impressive 9-0 count in which head coach Jeff Menaker's side gave up just one doubles point.
YU swept all six of its singles matches by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores, while the Nos. 2 and 3 doubles tandems scored 8-0 decisions against the Warriors.
The Maccabees will look to extend their winning streak in their final match before the holiday break on Sunday, as they travel to Albany, N.Y., when they open Skyline Conference play against The Sage Colleges, at the Albany Academy for Boys.
