Men's Tennis Falls Short vs. NYU-Poly, 6-3

Eitan Gettenberg and the Macs will look to get back on the winning track Sunday at St. Joseph's (L.I.).
EDGEWATER, N.J. - The Yeshiva University men's tennis team fell in Skyline Conference action Wednesday night at Binghamton Racquet Club, 6-3, to visiting NYU-Poly.

The Macs fell in the top and bottom singles matches by two games apiece, before junior team captain Jeremy Seftel (Cherry Hill, N.J.) and freshman Charles Saka (Deal, N.J.) scored an 8-3 victory over Conor Doherty and DJ Errabali to pull the hosts to within a 2-1 margin.

Sophomore Robby Rubin (Cleveland, Ohio) won his No. 4 singles match against Errabali in three sets (3-6, 6-3, 6-1), while freshman Akiva Katz (Boston, Mass.) won at the No. 6 flight against the Jays' Aliaksadr Ryzhko, 6-2 and 6-2.

Head coach Jeff Menaker's Yeshiva side will look to get back in the win column Sunday (April 14), when it travels to Patchogue, N.Y., for a 1 p.m. Skyline Conference match at St. Joseph's College of Long Island.
