MILTON, N.Y.— The Yeshiva University women's cross country team finished in third place of six teams at the 2014 Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome Sunday morning.
The Maccabees earned a score of 56 points. Albany College of Pharmacy won the race with a score of 31 points. Pratt Institute was the second place team with 45 points. Finished behind Yeshiva in fourth was the College of New Rochelle with 117 points, followed by the King's College with 118 points. St. Joseph's-Brooklyn finished sixth with 146 points.
Yeshiva's top finisher was
Stephanie Greenberg who was second overall of 49 runners in 20:44 over five kilometers. Finishing behind Greenberg was
Laurel Aaronson who was seventh overall in 22:42.
Shoshana Mond was third fastest for Yeshiva and fourteenth overall in 24:30, while
Rebecca van Bemmelen was fourth for Yeshiva and twenty-first in the race in 25:16.
Naomi Krohner rounded out Yeshiva's top five and was twenty-third in the race in 25:21.
Devorah Natelson was thirtieth overall in 26:14, while
Sarah Lazarus was thirty-fourth overall in 26:36.
Miriam Einhorn finished thirty-seventh overall in 27:46.
